So I am copying an idea that a frind of mine had. Thanks be to Shannon Wald, I dig the idea of a "journal" page. So this is where you can come to see what is up in my life and how I am doing... So I am at work right now waiting for Katie to come pick me up. We are going to look at more housing in San Mateo (where we're moving). Its really disheartening because we can't find any place for her to live. I think I found a place, we'll see on Saturday. I'll let you know then... Well she just called so I gotta go. Hmmmm.... Today was interesting. I was really productive. I washed my car, did a little construction at Katie's house, saw my prospective new house (oh please oh please!!!!!) and even did a little work on the ol' web page. I really want and need this room in San Mateo. The people who live there are totally killer, I just hope that they liked me enough to let me move in. The house was AWESOME, I love it. I really think that they like me. Julie and T-Bone both, but I get the notion that Julie likes me a lot better than T-Bone... It's just a hunch, but I bet I'm right. I'm really really anxious and worried. Oh well we'll see what happens. I'm really expecting a call from Julie (the renter chick) later tonight or tomorrow. I need to get this whole housing thing under control, school starts on August 21. So I guess that's why I'm being such a neurotic crackhead about this whole "move to San Mateo" thing... Well, keep pullin for me, and I'll promise to let you know exactly what happens with me and the house exactly when it happens. But its late and I gotta do more of the construction stuff at Katie's tomorrow so I better rest up... Goodnight all. ***YAWWWWNNN*** ~Scotty |

Monday, what a crappy day of the week... I mean here you are having a good ol time doing your "weekend thing" and KABLAMMO you gotta get up at 6:30 to meet your carpool to sit in a boring office all day with a server problem so you can't even get to the internet for half the day. Talk about suck! Well how's your day going? I talked to Julie today (you know the renter chick) and she is waaaaay cool. She really wants to give me the room that I want and stuff, but the only thing that's stopping her is the fact that I'm only 19. Which sucks, but if I were in her shoes I'd be like, look at this kid, he's got a car payment already and he thinks he's coming up with 600 bucks extra a month... Yeah right! NEXT!!! It seems to be working out anyway, she is going to talk to T-bone and try to get his approval and then she'll call me tonight or tomorrow. So the only thing I gotta do is get a co-signer, which isn't hard, I mean I do have parents. I'm lovin' the idea of moving out. It just sounds like so much fun to be out of the house on my own! For a guy who never got the dorm "experience" this will be pretty cool. We'll see though... So in your daily activities keep your fingers crossed for me and I'll keep you posted. Oh yeah, Katie found an apartment today! YAY! Until tomorrow... I mean TIGHT! Julie just called me and I am her roommate!!!! Woo-Hoo time to CELEBRATE!!! |

It feels like Monday... I woke up late, missed my carpool, got to work late, have to do some nasty inventory stuff, have a get together with Katie and my new roomies tonight that I am going to be totally tired at (you know, the whole "new people thing gotta make a good impression" at least I have Katie there, she's so great!), and I'm just really tired... It's just one of those days, ya know? Oh well, things should pick-up. I found out yesterday that I get to move into my new place around the fifteenth of August. Katie is coming to meet me at work so we can leave straight from here to go to our "gathering". Maybe I'm just a big whiner... Hmmm... I'll work on that. Oh yeah, Katie and I were building this thing at her house called a "secret garden" basically it is a little 8 x 8 house that has a bench in it and some candles and its a great place to sit after a long day of work and relax in the back yard. Well, it was totally hard work, I'll see if I can't get a picture of it up for you to see cause we finished it yesterday! Woo Hoo! We are such a great team. Anyways lunch is over so until later. ~Scotty |
